Kurt Forsyth, FACHE is the Hospital President at Delta Community and Fillmore Community hospitals, part of Intermountain Health. Each critical access hospital has been recognized as Chartis Top 20 CAH in Patient Perspective, and Performance Leadership in Patient Perspective and Quality during Kurt’s tenure. Kurt was named Becker’s Hospital Review 90 critical access CEOs to know, 2024. Kurt presented to a national audience at the AHA Rural Leadership Conference. Kurt serves as the Chapter President for ACHE of Utah chapter. Kurt has experienced for-profit and not-for-profit sectors of healthcare, as well as rural and urban sectors. Kurt has succeeded in both small independent hospitals and in hospitals within large health systems. Kurt began his healthcare career as a volunteer in the Emergency Department. Kurt completed an internship with Intermountain Medical Group Layton. Kurt was a manager of Hyperbaric/Wound Care clinic before progressing to Practice Administrator of primary care clinics. Kurt then worked as Director at an independent critical access hospital in southeast Nebraska. His contributions helped to achieve Chartis Overall Top 20 Critical Access Hospital status for multiple years.
